Why I write

I used to write only for and to myself, to focus and channel my thoughts.  My computer was like a vacuum that sucked up all my worries with every word I typed. It was simply cathartic.

When I decided to make a public blog, talking mostly about myself because that's my only real expertise, I held out hope that at least one person reading would relate to me.  I thought if just one person said they understood one fault or fear I have then I would feel normal and accepted.

Now it's the other way around.  I write in the hope that people reading will feel better about themselves and know they are okay in all their faults.
